Sri Raman Vihari Gaudiya Math

In year 1999 Srila Gurudeva, His Divine Grace Srila Bhaktivedant Narayan Gosvami Maharaj, established a new society in Delhi, ‘International Gaudiya Vedant Trust’ (IGVT) and appointed Sripad Ramchandra Das as its secretary. In the same year, land for the temple was applied in DDA. By the mercy of Srila Gurudeva and tireless efforts of Sripad Ramchandra Das, finally DDA allotted a land in year 2001 for SRI RAMAN VIHARI GAUDIYA MATH & simultaneously Mr. Khurana and Sri Kunj Bihari Das(Mr. Kaniska Mehta) were instrumental for doing the paper work.

In year 2003, Srila Gurudeva manifested the Utsav Vigrah (small vigraha of Sri Mahaprabhu, Sri Krishna and Srimati Radha ji) in the basement of temple, while the rest of the temple was under construction.

In the year 2006, Srila Gurudeva from his inner heart manifested and installed his most beloved deities of ‘Sri Sri Radha Raman Vihari Ji’ at Janak Puri. Also the Utsav Vigrah was shifted in the new ‘altar’ (deity room).

Sri Raman Vihari Gaudiya math situated in the capital of India has now become the capital for preaching pure bhakti for the entire world. Today the magnificent and beautiful temple is one of the most visited in the country. It is like a spiritual lighthouse, directing people lost in the ocean of material miseries thus benefiting people not only from Delhi or India but people from all over the world. For a comfortable stay there is spacious guest house and delicious prasadam facility, where visitors can stay and participate in the daily spiritual programs of the temple.

The temple hall is beautifully decorated with the Rasa-Lila painting on the centre of the ceiling and various colourful pastimes of Lord Krishna, Lord Rama & Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Sri Raman Vaihari Ji’s altar is encircled by beautiful paintings of Dasa Avatar:

Sri Krishna is the original fountain head of all these avatars. He delivered the Vedas in the form of Matsya, He upheld the world in the form of Kurma, He saved mother earth in the form of Varah, He killed Hiranyakashipu in the form of Nrsimha, He cheated Bali and made him His own in the form of Vaman, He annihilated the wicked Ksatriyas in the form of Parasurama, He faught with Ravana in the form of Rama, He chastised the miscreants in the form of Balabhadra, He advocated compassion in the form of Buddha and He slew the barbarians in the form of Kalki.”

The wall of mezzanine floor is decorated with beautiful paintings of Lord Rama pastimes.

At second floor of temple, there is a beautiful “Bhajan Kutir” of Srila Gurudeva having magnificent deity and several paintings of Srila gurudeva. The aura of bhajana kutir gives transcendental vibes, devotees has sensational experiences of chanting and meditating there.

In front of the temple there is a very big park, Sri Raman Vihari ji has done and still performing various pastimes by attracting visitors of this park. Sri Raman Vihari ji is served as a king of Vrindavana by the devotees in the temple and he showers his mercy and blessing to all the visitors who visit the temple.
